Opera originally grew out of a research project for Telenor, Norway’s largest telecommunications company. - Support for custom ad blocking. Users have the option to upload their files in block list format. Use the Extras button in Settings where you can add/remove the extra block files you want to load.

- RSS for exclusive news. RSS support makes the built-in newsreader even more customizable.
